Districtwide Earthquake Drill – October 16, 2025
Get Ready to ShakeOut!
On Thursday, October 16, 2025, CRPUSD will participate in a districtwide earthquake drill as part of the Great ShakeOut. This important safety exercise is being conducted in partnership with Rohnert Park Public Safety, Cotati Police, Sonoma State University, the City of Cotati, the City of Rohnert Park, and North Bay Security.
The purpose of the drill is to ensure that our students and staff know how to respond quickly and safely in the event of an earthquake.
We are proud to work with our community partners to strengthen safety and preparedness for everyone. Thank you for your support in helping us create a safe learning environment for all students.
DesignIt Prototype, a Rohnert Park-based engineering and machine shop, has once again stepped up to support Technology High School students, this time in a Physics class. Larry Childs, the owner, and Bob Lopes, General Manager, recently donated a dozen spring-powered projectile launchers to help students learn about projectile motion.
